Our technicians have a lot of experience with web site migration and are able to take care of anything – from a typical WordPress–driven weblog or Joomla^™–powered site, to a highly elaborate, custom–made web application.

A: There are many aspects to think about – the overall number of files, the size of the database, the complexity of the web site itself and the present workload of our website migration experts, etc. However, we do our best to accomplish all web site migrations within a 48–hour time frame. Smaller–sized websites are migrated much faster – typically in under 24 hours.

A: We don’t request any private information. We will require, however, the login information for your present hosting account as well as the name of the web site that you’d like to transfer.

A: Nah. Your web site will stay online during the migration. As soon as everything is completed on our end, we’ll tell you so that you can preview it and check for any problems. If everything’s okay, all you will need to do is update your domain name’s DNS settings.

A: While we move your website content, your web hosting provider will not be aware of the migration at all. We will never contact them in any way.

A: Yes. We support all common Linux–powered web hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–powered hosting platforms, because we don’t offer Windows web hosting services ourselves.Additionally, we do not support proprietary website creation and administration tools such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
